The Culture

The best thing about working at NativesOutdoors is: A collaborative and consensus based work culture that fosters innovation and resilience.

When we’re not working, we’re: Climbing mountains, skiing down them, running, and telling the indigenous story of the outdoors.

What we’re reading: Dispossessing the Wilderness by Mark David Spence, Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates, The Alpinist

What we’re listening to: The sound of crusty snow beneath our feet.

If they made a movie about our workplace, it would be called: Welcome To The Party

Inclusion in the outdoors matters because: Our greatest hope to addressing the environmental challenges of our generation is ensuring each person has a stake in the outdoors and the environment.

Five years down the line, it’s our hope that: There are more companies and CEO owned by BIPOC & LGBTQ+ individuals leading the charge. The culture of the outdoor industry will change because it will cost companies profits if they chose not to follow!

The One-Year Goals
